It is a simple hike that should take no more than an hour to get from the trailhead to the iconic view from up on the far cliff. I visited Faroe Islands for 10 days and I saw hurricane wind, snow, rain, sun, etc While I was walking towards lake there was a snow going on for 5 minutes, then sky opened and it was sunny for 20 minutes, once I climbed on the hill it started raining again (talking about luck lol)

At the end of Lake Leitisvatn, Bøsdalafossur dramatically falls 35 metres directly into the open Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by high promontories and the free standing rock Geituskoradrangur. This view was just as breathtaking as the other one.
